Hi! I'm Tara . .
I am an accomplished radio personality, voice-over artist, wife, and mom with over three decades of personal and professional experience.
Radio, for better or for worse, has always been my true love. The unique and powerful gift that I've been blessed with gives me the opportunity to touch the lives of the community I am in. In my long career, I've been a part of many communities. Seemingly the ones that needed me most at that time. The power of radio is evident when you get a phone call from a listener thanking you for being by her side on the car ride to her chemo treatments, meeting someone at a live broadcast or other event who recalls a silly story you told years ago, or organizing relief efforts for first responders as they battle a historic wildfire. I am constantly reminded why it is so important for me to continue to be present for others.
While this type of profession might be extraordinary in so many ways, the job of being a mom is far more gratifying. I am "mom" and "mimi" to eight incredible humans, three of whom I am currently raising with my husband, Douglas. One of our children, Adrian, is our ASD kid.
Adrian is the main character in this chapter of my story, and because I've struggled with my own mental health issues since childhood, it's led to this very moment.
